Acquisition of original title to grant/licence land
If an heir is nominated after the death of the grantor/licensee and the spouse, the heirs can get the original right as per circular 2022/4.
Documents required for this
When it is an grant land
• Original rights claim letter
• Death certificates of grantor and spouse (attested copies issued by Additional District Registrar)
• Applicant's birth certificate (to confirm kinship)
• Transcript obtained from the Land Registrar's office (must be obtained within 03 months)
• Original offer slip and 1 photocopy
• Affidavits in case of differences in names and surnames
• 1 stamp of Rs.25.00
When a plot of land at the time of licenses
• Original license and photocopy
• Original rights claim letter
• Death certificates of licensee and spouse (must be attested and issued by Additional District Registrar)
• Applicant's birth certificate (to confirm kinship)
• Affidavits if there are differences in names

What are the qualifications required to get a deed?
Land must have been obtained on the basis of a license under the Land Development Ordinance.
The land should be well developed and enjoyed. (If the land is given for residence, a house must be built and occupied)

Submit the following documents to this office which will be provided if the above qualifications are met.
